It was hard for me for many years to stand up and shout “Hallelujah!” but you wouldn't know it to sit next to me now. That is something God loves, but it was something in me that would stop my hands from being lifted up. You will not always get people that think your event is what God would want, but you have to know, that you know, that you know, that you know, you got the okay from Him. Then there’s no way any “Doubting Thomas” can hinder what you know you have to do for God. I would always recommend that you let your pastor know what you’re doing too. You may not want to host the event at your church, but the head of your spiritual walk and home church, should be one of the first to know. There’s nothing like a parishioner going to host a major event and their pastor having to find out through the grapevine, or by another pastor. I don’t ever believe that’s what God would want.
